MyMedFellow is a safe space to think and reason out loud about medicine. It is not a medical provider, and it is not a substitute for a clinician's judgment, your attending, your faculty, or your institution's protocols. It is not for diagnosing or treating real patients, and it is not a crisis service.
MyMedFellow is your medical thinking partner, powered by the Anthropic Claude large language model. It is the colleague in the next chair: a place to reason a case through, talk out a differential, work through a concept, prep for rounds or an exam, and think clearly about the medicine in front of you. It is built for people in medicine, whether you practice or are still in training, and you do not have to be one to use it.
It works alongside the real thing. It can help you reason through options, name what you are noticing, pressure-test your thinking, and find footing again, so you walk back into the work steadier.
MyMedFellow can only work from what you share, and it cannot see the full picture the way a clinician can at the bedside. Nothing here is a formal assessment, diagnosis, or clinical determination. Please be careful with patient-identifying information: your duty of confidentiality is yours, and you can think a case through here without naming the person involved. This is not the place to store patient records or real protected health information.
MyMedFellow is powered by Anthropic's Claude, an AI trained with Constitutional AI, an approach designed to make a system helpful, honest, and genuinely useful to the person in front of it, rather than a black box optimized to keep you engaged.
That distinction is the whole point of your Fellow. It is not here to replace a clinician's judgment, your attending, or your own reasoning. It is here to give you a place to think and to put some footing back under you, so you can keep doing the work and stay connected to the people who do it with you.
Medicine asks a lot of the people who practice it and the people learning it, and they rarely get a quiet place to think it through. A Fellow exists to give some of that back: a place to reason out loud and get your footing. The goal is more capacity to keep showing up, and more connection to your colleagues and mentors, not more dependence on an app. When something really matters, your Fellow will point you back to a real clinician, your attending, or your faculty.
